[ARCHIVED] Winter Weather Advisory for March 21-22


East Orange, NJ, March 20, 2018: The City of East Orange has issued a weather and parking advisory in the event of pending Winter Storm Toby. High winds and heavy snow are expected to impact the East Orange area starting early Wednesday morning, March 21 through the evening. Overnight and snow emergency parking regulations will be strictly enforced. Parking will be available between 9pm on Tues, March 20 until 8am on Thurs, March 22 in the lots at Halsted Street and Freeway Drive East, on South Clinton Street between Elmwood and Rhode Island Avenues, at 175 Sanford Street and the rear of Dionne Warwick School at 120 Central Avenue. Please NOTE: Garbage collection will begin at 1:30am on Wed, March 21. Please avoid unnecessary travel during the storm.
