EAST ORANGE, NJ, April 21, 2018: East Orange Mayor Ted Green and the East Orange City Council are hosting an Earth Day Citywide Cleanup on Sat, April 21. More than 40 teams, including a group from Comcast Cares, will gather at 8:30am at City Hall Plaza to pick up supplies and tools before heading out to various neighborhoods throughout the city.
Teams will meet at Hillcrest Terrace and Mountainview Avenue for a special tree-planting ceremony in honor of the late community icon Armelia Grooms.
