[ARCHIVED] PSE&G to begin gas repair work along Central Avenue

East Orange, NJ, June 14, 2018: On June 15th, PSE&G will begin repairs on the gas distribution system that will impact traffic and parking in phases along Central Avenue between South Burnet and South Grove Streets throughout the duration of the summer.

The work will consist of repairing approximately 15 cast iron bell joints which ensures the continued safety and reliability of gas service to East Orange customers. During this project, there are no planned gas service interruptions and all work activity is subject to weather and operational conditions.

If possible, all motorists are encouraged to travel on alternate routes or to park cars outside of work area while work is ongoing. All efforts will be made to keep interruptions to a minimum.

For questions or more information, please call PSE&G Representative Larry Cleaver at 973.414.1565.
