Starting April 29, 2019, the East Orange Water Department will commence its Annual Hydrant Flushing program. The flushing will take place Monday-Thursday, 7:30pm - 11:30pm, until completed.  During this time, residents in the area may experience cloudy/brownish water.  Please refrain from washing clothes for the sediment in the water will cause staining.  After 11:30pm, run the cold water in your home at the lowest floor, e.g. the basement, until the water clears.  Technicians will be flushing in the 3rd Ward April 29 - May 1st, weather permitting.
