East Orange, NJ, May 5, 2020: New Jersey Governor Phil Murphy will join Mayor Ted R. Green as a special guest for the Mayor’s Weekly Virtual COVID-19 Update to be held on Thursday, May 7 at 6pm.

 “We know that Governor Phil Murphy has been working tirelessly to ensure that New Jerseyans are not left behind in dealing with the devastating impact of COVID-19 in our communities. He has had to make some extremely tough decisions and I thank him for putting the health and safety of the citizens of New Jersey first,” said Mayor Green. “I am looking forward to Governor Murphy joining us and taking time to address some of our residents’ most pressing concerns.”

Mayor Green began his weekly Virtual Town Hall Teleconferences on Thursday, March 19, 2020 and special guests have included Lieutenant Governor Sheila Oliver, Congressman Donald Payne, Jr., Essex County Executive Joseph DiVincenzo, and Senator Cory Booker, all of whom have made appearances remotely.
