SPECIAL NOTICE REGARDING LOCATION AND FORMAT OF THE REGULAR SCHEDULED MEETING OF THE BOARD OF WATER COMMISSIONERS OF THE CITY OF EAST ORANGE (EOBWC) FOR TUESDAY, June 16, 2020 AT 5:00 P.M.
PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that due to the public health emergency in the State of New Jersey, as declared by Governor Philip D. Murphy, the Board of Water Commissioners of the City of East Orange (EOBWC) will be altering its normal meeting procedures for its regularly scheduled Board Meeting scheduled for Tuesday, June 16, 2020, at 5:00 p.m. and will conduct its public meeting by and through the means of electronic communications equipment as permitted by the provisions of the New Jersey Open Public Meetings Act, N.J.S.A. 10:4-8(b). Due to the COVID-19 pandemic and in an effort to follow best practices recommended by the United States Center for Disease Control, the offices of the EOBWC located at 99 South Grove Street, East Orange, are closed to the general public and the public meeting will not be “in-person” and will be conducted electronically, solely by virtual means. Members of the public are invited to attend the meeting electronically. Members of the public will have the ability to provide public comments during this meeting.

The EOBWC is utilizing this format in an effort to mitigate the chance of exposure to COVID-19, as a part of the City of East Orange’s ongoing effort to slow the rate of transmission and avoid overwhelming our treatment centers.
