[ARCHIVED] East Orange to Hold Holiday Caravan to Thank Health Care Workers in the City

December 23, 2020, East Orange, NJ: Mayor Ted R. Green, the East Orange City Council and the Department of Public Safety will hold a Holiday Caravan to salute health care workers at East Orange General Hospital and the Veterans Administration Hospital in East Orange on Tuesday, December 29 beginning at 12pm. The caravan will assemble at EOPD headquarters located at 15 S. Munn Ave at 11:45am.


“This year, we saw just how brave, courageous and committed our health professionals are as they stood on the frontlines to help stop the spread of the coronavirus,” said Mayor Green. “They have saved countless lives in the City of East Orange and restored the health of those who were hit the hardest by the virus. This caravan is just a small token of our appreciation and our way of saying ‘Thank You’ to our local healthcare heroes this holiday season.”
