  BASEBALL— Introduction level instruction is taught as a precursor to the baseball season.

  BOXING— Instructional and competitive boxing coordinated by the East Orange Safe Haven Police Athletic League

DAYS /TIMES: MONDAY-FRIDAY 3:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.
AGES: 8-17 Boys and Girls

  CHEERLEADING — Instruction and competition on beginner, intermediate advanced levels.

  GIRL POWER MENTORING SERIES—A monthly forum focusing on career development for girls ages 10-16. Focus groups led by professional women.

Recreation - In the sports arena, we serve as a feeder program to build strong minds & bodies. Our primary focus is working with our city youth, through various forms of sports, such as Baseball, Basketball, Soccer, Track, Wrestling, Tennis, Archery, Swimming, Cheerleading and Physical Fitness.

Cultural Affairs - We generate and provide quality cultural and art experiences, through Ceramic Workshops, Arts & Crafts, Black History, Women’s History, Dr. Martin Luther King Celebrations, Veterans Day Programs, Memorial Day Parades and other events/holidays.

Golf - East Orange Golf Course is a well manicured, classic gem of an attraction, that is highly regarded as one of the best-kept secrets in the Northeast. This signature layout offers 18 holes of challenging golf in a friendly atmosphere, conveniently located adjacent to the Short Hills Mall. It is just minutes from Newark's Liberty International Airport, accessible by Routes 78 & 24 and the Garden State Parkway.
