The East Orange Office of Emergency Management (OEM) maintains an emergency equipment stockpile. The equipment is primarily for:

• Emergency Lighting
• Emergency Power Generation
• Flooding
• Incident Management and Emergency Communications
• Search and Rescue

Inventory

Power Generation

• OEM has 1.5 kilowatt (kW) to 10 kW power generators available.
• Generators in the 10, 20, and 40 kW range have both single-and three-phase capability.
• Power sources for the generators are gasoline and diesel.

Pumps

• 2 inch pumps are available with a 140 gallons per minute (gpm) capacity. Pumps are gasoline powered.

Light Tower

• The towable light tower has four 1000 Watt Metal halide fixtures
• The lighting covers up to 7 acres
• The 30 foot, three-part mast can be rotated 360 degrees
